Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure high-quality images are captured. You will upload studies to PACS and support daily operations of the Ultrasound Department.

Qualified candidates will hold RDMS and a relevant certificate, and must obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential
• Certificate in sonography or related training

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
