Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies under Radiologist direction for pediatric through geriatric patients. The role is per diem with a variable shift, 0.4 weekly hours, on-site at Kadlec's Ultrasound department.

Qualified candidates have an approved ultrasound program, at least an associate degree in sonography, ARDMS certification on hire, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Certification from ARDMS upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under supervision of Radiologist.
  • Works with pediatric to geriatric patients across diverse settings.
  • Maintains equipment and adheres to safety and quality standards.

DescriptionUltrasound Technologist - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound, independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Shift Details: Per diem, Variable Shift, 0.4 working hours weekly

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, OrNational Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • 1 year Medical Sonography as a Registered Sonographer or as a registry eligible Sonographer.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
