Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on pediatric through geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

This per‑diem, 0.4 FTE position provides an opportunity to contribute to a patient‑focused care culture within Kadlec's comprehensive imaging program, with ongoing professional development and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • AA degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or equivalent education/experience.
  • ARDMS or NRT-Sonography certification upon hire.
  • BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under supervision.
  • Works under Radiologist direction and guidance.
  • Examinations span pediatric to geriatric patients.

Education

Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program
ARDMS Certification upon hire

Ultrasound Technologist - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound, independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Shift Details
  • Per diem, Variable Shift, 0.4 working hours weekly
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, Or
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • 1 year Medical Sonography as a Registered Sonographer or as a registry eligible Sonographer.
