Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for Mammography to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist direction. The role supports pediatric to geriatric patients with emphasis on breast imaging within a hospital setting.

The candidate must complete an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program and hold an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with ARDMS or NRT Sonography certification and BLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• National Certification required at hire: ARDMS or NRT Sonography.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Work with Breast Imaging Services to support pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation as part of imaging services.

Ultrasound Technologist - Mammography - Kadlec Regional Medical Center - Richland, WA

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Breast Imaging Services, independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Shift Details:

• Part time, Variable Shift, 24 working hours weekly

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year Medical Sonography as a Registered Sonographer or as a Registry Eligible Sonographer.
