Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services. You will perform various imaging procedures, document results in Meditech, and verify images in PACS, while ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program graduate and active certifications (RDMS, RDMS-AB, RVT) with BCLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document exams in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• Follow procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history including lab values.

Education

Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Basic Cardiac Life Support (within 30 days)

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.

• You will demonstrate the ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• You will accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• You will follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• You will demonstrate proper documentation concerning the patient’s history, including lab values.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
