Job summary

University Radiology in Maplewood, NJ seeks a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. The role requires ARDMS certification in Abdomen, Breast and OB/GYN, with vascular RVT preferred, and a minimum of 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registered in Abdomen, Breast and OB/GYN.
• Minimum 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans in Maplewood imaging office.
• Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with one Saturday per month.
• Adhere to department and facility safety protocols; pursue additional certifications with possible reimbursement.

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology Group is currently seeking aFull-Time Ultrasound Technologist for our Maplewood, NJ Imaging Office.

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm and one Saturday a month

Our Ultrasound Techs are also required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Techs must be certified in RVT and at least one of these areas to qualify. URG will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as a bonus once obtained.

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Pay Range:

From $40/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs
