Job summary

Together Women’s Health’s partner North Alabama OBGYN Associates in Madison, AL is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join the team. The role focuses on OB/GYN imaging and delivering high-quality diagnostics.

You will work closely with physicians and patients, perform OB/GYN studies, document findings, and obtain reliable images for interpretation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certified and in good standing.
• Extensive experience in OB/GYN.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients courteously and ensures that their needs are met.
• Reviews patient identification and verifies physician order.
• Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of imaging procedures, explaining equipment, and answering questions.
• Reviews images, makes initial observations, documents exceptions from established protocols and communicates data to physician.
• Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and procedures.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures.
• Documents patient ultrasound services by completing patient record charting.
• Participates in process improvement activities within radiology practice including but not limited to quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer with a strong background in OB/GYN imaging who enjoys working closely with physicians and patients in a dedicated women’s health setting. We are looking for an experienced professional who is confident performing OB/GYN studies, recognizing and documenting findings, and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact:
