Job summary

Duly Health and Care seeks an Ultrasound Technician (DI) for part-time hours in the Naperville/Lisle area. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, educate patients, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.

The role requires ARDMS certification, current BLS, and 1–3 years of ultrasound experience, with shifts primarily 8am–12pm and some evenings. Join a collaborative, physician-led team dedicated to outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • ARDMS certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One to three years of ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic procedures according to department standards.
  • Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures to reduce anxiety.
  • Produce exams meeting image quality standards per protocols.
  • Submit images for physician interpretation and verify demographics and clinical data.
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry and timely documentation for patient care.
  • Monitor supplies in imaging rooms and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Report equipment issues and support safety procedures and organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support optimal patient flow.

Data must be entered accurately and in a timely fashion to provide optimal patient care.Verifies all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift.Monitors stock supplies in imagining rooms to assure their regular availability by timely reordering, rotation of dated items, and by maintenance of a clean and orderly environment.Reports incidences of equipment failure.Actively supports organizational changes.Adheres to institutional safety procedures as described in the institutional safety program.Actively participates in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
