Job summary

Care New England Health System in Providence, RI seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound studies and assist radiologists in interpretation. You will demonstrate good judgment in equipment use and ensure patient confidentiality.

The role requires ARDMS certification, completion of a 1–2 year training program, and proficiency in English. On-the-job ultrasound training is provided as part of the standard onboarding process and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Registry with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.

Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating good judgment in the use and application of ultrasound equipment. The incumbent assesses the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assists the radiologist and staff physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies.
