Qualifications

  • CPR-BLS certification required.
  • Registry eligible required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound exam and prepare patients for procedure.
  • Interpret ultrasound and maintain equipment.
  • Schedule patients if necessary.

Education

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Prefer Registered Ultrasonographer

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Ultrasound Technologist- Days

Posit i onH i gh li ghts:

  • Position: Ultrasound Technologist
  • Location: Skokie Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM
  • Call: 6-8 calls per month/ as needed
  • Required Travel:Local- Evanston

What you will do :

  • Perform ultrasound exam
  • Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
  • Interprets ultrasound
  • Cleans and maintains equipment
  • Schedules patients if necessary

What you will need :

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • Certification:CPR-BLS required. Completion offormal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
  • Skills: N/A
