Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT/Radiology department. You will work part-time, supporting radiologists and producing high-quality diagnostic images, with responsibilities including processing and transmitting images to PACS.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, state radiology licensure, BCLS, and familiarity with radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment. A year of acute radiology experience and strong anatomy knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of acute radiology experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images.
• The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

With 152 licensed beds and more than 500 employees, the hospital averages 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over the age of 55, and remains the ONLY cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County.
