RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Burbank, CA to perform high-quality ultrasound exams and support radiologists in procedures. You will monitor patient well-being, safeguard PHI and medications, and maintain professional, patient-centered interactions in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires completion of an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, SPI exam, BLS certification, and ARDMS certification or registry eligibility preferred.

• Must have BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand methods used to generate ultrasound data and operation of instruments.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or problems and take action.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property and patient information on-site.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

You Will

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
• Passed SPI exam
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range

$24.00 - $36.00 /hour.
