RadNet is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality ultrasound exams in a patient-centered radiology setting in Escondido, CA. You will support radiologists, ensure patient comfort, and maintain strict privacy and safety standards.

The role requires completion of an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, SPI exam, ARDMS certification or eligibility, and a BLS certificate. Join a team focused on excellent patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of instruments used to detect, display, and store data.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and take action if discomfort or problems arise.
• Safeguard patient privacy and Health Information; safeguard medications on-site as required.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, families, and staff.

You Will

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma
• Passed SPI exam
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred
• Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
