Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure quality imaging. You will upload studies to PACS and assist the Ultrasound Department in daily operations to maintain efficient workflow and high patient care standards.

The role requires BLS within 30 days, RDMS certification, and an appropriate sonography certificate.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS certification required.
• Certificate in sonography or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and capture high-quality images.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to optimize images.
• Upload studies to PACS and document findings.
• Support daily operations of the Ultrasound Department to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Certificate
