Description

Position: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm at Winship Emory Midtown in the Breast Imaging Center.

• Provide quality care during US scans, diagnostic, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Communicate patient needs effectively.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation.
• Operate imaging and specialty equipment properly.
• Stay updated on medical devices and prepare patients for procedures.
• Manage supplies and inventories.
• Assist with patient and family education; support research activities if applicable.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology; provide complex technical care.
• Assist in planning and performing diagnostic procedures.
• Serve as a resource for students and junior technicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program; minimum 2 years US experience with at least 1 year in US.
• RDMS or ARRT certification; advanced certification as a Registered Vascular Tech preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per AHA standards.
