Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology.
• Licensed and certified in Tennessee; ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

How You’ll Contribute

• Provide quality ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and testicular examinations for radiologist diagnosis.
• Perform sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by referring physicians to support delivery of care.
• Maintain appropriate supplies, a clean and orderly work area, and notify supervisors of needed items.
• Maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Provide age‑appropriate care to all patients.
• Act as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for scan appropriateness and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or School of Radiology.
• Licenses: Certified by the state of Tennessee; accredited DMS program graduate or ARRT certification required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: One year of DMS experience as certified by ARRT.
