UMC Health System in Texas is seeking an Ultrasongrapher to perform diagnostic sonography procedures. You will operate ultrasound equipment, communicate results, and collaborate with radiologists.
The role requires graduation from an accredited school of Sonography and at least one year of ultrasound experience, with BLS certification and attainment of a registry within 12 months. Willingness to train students and support scheduling and other radiology tasks.

This position works closely with radiologist, physicians, patients, and their families
Work requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and transporting patients, equipment and/or supplies. Should be able to lift 50 pounds. Visual acuity is needed to read equipment and patient imaging charts
This position is subject to inside environmental changes that may include constant change in temperatures. Exposure to blood borne pathogens is a high risk
