UMC Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to participate in CT department operations, perform exams under the Radiologist, and support quality control and patient care.
You will perform CT procedures per protocol, manage PACS images, adjust protocols for age-specific exams, and assist in training staff. ARRT registration and TDH license are required, with CPR certification.

Participate in the day-to-day operation of the CT department, including quality control and patient exam acquisition. Perform all exams as listed in the Procedure Manual under the direction of the assigned Radiologist. May be assigned non-technical responsibilities as needed and/or transfer to other areas as needed.
Two years progressive and relevant hospital experience. Able to use independent judgement and work without supervision. Must be capable of starting I.V’s and injecting contrast. Must have very good customer service skills. Work in a fast paced stressful environment.
Communicate effectively with Physicians.
Must be emotionally and physically fit. The work requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients and supplies. The work is at times stressful with many emotional demands. Must possess near visual acuity. Must be able to lift 50lb.
This position is subject to inside environmental conditions. Occupational risk to blood born pathogens is moderate to high.
