The Role You’ll Contribute: The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses ultrasound to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical and functional data to assist in diagnosis, maintaining high patient care standards.

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
• Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures based on anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information.
• Exercise independent judgment during exams to differentiate normal from abnormal findings.
