The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa
AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida. It specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. The hospital hosts GME programs in general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. It is also home to the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, and the Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, which leads in clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and more.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses ultrasound to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data to aid physicians in diagnosing disease or injury, while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.
