Lifepoint Health® is seeking an Ultrasound Technician in Henderson, North Carolina. This role involves conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations for accurate diagnosis while ensuring all safety and infection-control standards are met.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with BLS certification, and will benefit from comprehensive medical coverage, financial and career growth opportunities, and ongoing professional development.

Competenze

• One (1) year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technician performs high‑quality abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small‑parts ultrasound examinations for accurate interpretation by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness. This role ensures proper equipment calibration, maintains an organized work area and adequate supplies, and provides appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. The technologist serves as a clinical resource to physicians and staff regarding scan accuracy and appropriateness, participates in performance improvement and continuing education, and upholds regular, reliable attendance while adhering to safety and infection‑control standards.
