Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, NV is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a full-time role within Lifepoint Health. You will perform diverse ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast and small parts exams for radiologist interpretation.

Responsibilities include patient prep, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining equipment while supporting smooth patient flow. Eligible candidates will have DMS training and ARRT/DMS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or radiology program.
• One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
• ARRT/DMS certification and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives patient, explains method of procedure and ensures comfort.
• Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams.
• Maintains equipment and organizes the work area.
• Keeps accurate records and manages patient flow.
