Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN. In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound studies to assist in diagnosing patient illnesses, including various specialized examinations.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, hold necessary certifications, and preferably have at least one year of experience. Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program required.
• One year of Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality ultrasound studies including abdominal and OB exams.
• Maintain appropriate files, supplies, and equipment.
• Report to the Ultrasound Supervisor and/or Radiology Director.
