Job summary

Spring View Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to join our team in Lebanon, KY. As part of Lifepoint Health, you will perform sonographic examinations, ensure patient care across the lifespan, and support quality care initiatives.

Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology is required, ARRT/DMS certification preferred, and BLS within 30 days of hire. One year of experience is preferred; on-site parking and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.
• One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
• ARRT/DMS certification; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
• Provides age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
• Maintains supplies and ensures a clean, orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
• Acts as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
