Position Purpose:
Following established policies and procedures, performs and records ultrasound diagnostic tests of patients' pelvic, abdominal and arterial and vascular areas. Obtains information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, blood flow, masses or development of fetuses for use in diagnosis of disease, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, and the like. Assists physicians in carrying out examinations, consultations, sterile procedures, and the like.
