Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams and ensure high-quality recordings for diagnostic use.

You will position patients and equipment, produce scans, and ensure timely transmission to PACS each shift. The role requires body or region certification (RDMS/ARRT) within 90 days, with preferred prior ultrasound experience and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARRT certification required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current equivalent certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate required; CPR certification.
• Previous ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and produce technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Position patient and equipment and ensure proper recording.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• Proficient computer skills

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
