Position: Ultrasound Technologist

Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy for patients of all ages, including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements for Ultrasound Technologists

Initial Qualifications

• Certification or eligibility for certification by:

- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S)

- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

• All sonographers must obtain certification within one year of hire or cross-training.
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.

Note: This is a PRN/RESOURCE position. Hours and shifts will vary weekly depending on departmental needs.
