Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA, seeks a skilled Imaging Technologist to join the Ultrasound team. You will operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and provide compassionate patient care across all ages.

Under the supervision of board-certified radiologists, you will collaborate with staff, ensure quality imaging, and participate in rotating call and schedule requirements. Candidates must have AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography training or JRCERT accreditation,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) Preferred or
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) Preferred
