Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Imaging Technologist specializing in diagnostic ultrasound to join the imaging team. You will perform ultrasound exams, support clinical decision-making, and provide patient-centered care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Candidates must graduate from an AMA/JRCERT accredited program, hold ARDMS in at least two specialties, and have BCLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• RVS/RVT preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
