Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to join our radiology team. You will operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established standards and practices.

You will provide patient services, demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and communicate effectively with staff and radiologists across all patient age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program completed.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties upon hire.
• BLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.
• RVS or RVT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provide patient services using ultrasound equipment across age groups.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and pathology and communicate with radiology staff.

• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) Preferred or
