Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist to operate diagnostic equipment and perform ultrasound exams in accordance with established standards. You will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations and collaborate with radiologists and staff.

Required ARDMS certification in at least two specialties, BCLS, AMA-approved educational program, and 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• 2 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology to support patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
