Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved radiographic technology program.
• Continuous ARRT registration.
• Proficiency with information systems and general computer literacy.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation in the production of radiographs.
• Provide safe and effective patient care while performing radiologic technologist duties.
• Utilize and effectively use radiology equipment and software in daily responsibilities.
• Maintain certifications, registrations, and education requirements with the hospital and accrediting bodies.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation dose.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all protocols and procedures.
• Use AIDET when communicating with patients and staff.
