Job summary

Grace Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech for a travel assignment in North Carolina (Wilmington). The role performs ultrasound procedures across obstetric, gynecologic, neonatal, and abdominal imaging with emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS certification (OB/GYN), BLS, and experience with GE systems; Epic experience is required. This traveler position includes weekend and on-call variability as described in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS credentials including OB/GYN; BLS required.
• Epic experience is required.
• GE imaging systems experience preferred.
• Travel/assignment readiness for Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN, neonatal, abdominal, and other ultrasound exams.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality imaging results.
• Document findings and communicate with physicians and team.

Role Overview

This role involves performing procedures using imaging modalities while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• 1 st time traveler experience accepted.
• Work Setting Skills REQUIRED: High Risk OB & Outpatient GE
• General Ultrasound Skills REQUIRED: Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis & Spleen
• OB/GYN Skills REQUIRED: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey & Placenta Previa
• Neonatal Skills REQUIRED: Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Head & Heart
• Renal/Pelvis Skills REQUIRED: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus & Vaginal
• Small Parts Skills REQUIRED: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum & Thyroid
• Certifications Required: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS
• Certification Preferred: ARDMS FE, NT
• Epic experience required
• Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Special Procedures/Unit Details

OB/GYN patients - level 1 OB scans and GYN scans. Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer.

• Shift: 40 Hours Can be Offered
• The hours will be Mon – Fri 7:45 – 4:30 with a 45 minute meal break.
• Call Requirement: NONE
