Piedmont’s First Call Staffing Solutions seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to support its statewide hospital network in Georgia. The role offers assignment opportunities across multiple facilities, with 12–13 week blocks and 36‑hour weeks, potentially including weekends and holidays.

Per diem shifts may become available after the initial contract. You will join a dedicated team within Piedmont’s travel staffing ecosystem, delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging while expanding your imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience required.
• ARDMS and/or RVT/RVS registration required; BLS certification also required.
• Breast ultrasound licensure may be met with ARRT (BS) registration.

Responsabilités

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams.
• Provide patient services and interpret cross‑sectional anatomy as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists.
• Be part of Piedmont internal agency pool to fill urgent staffing needs.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Part of a Piedmont internal agency pool that is used to fill critical and/or urgent staffing needs through designated assignments at Piedmont hospitals ("Assignment").

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of work experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered by the ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT Required
• Vascular Sonographer- registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) Required
• Breast Ultrasound- Licensure requirement can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required
• BLS certified Required
