Qualifications

• ARDMS Certified or eligible.
• Completion of formal ultrasound technology training meeting ARDMS requirements.
• 1-2 years of ultrasound experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality ultrasound examinations (abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, interventional).
• Input charges in computer system and obtain patient history.
• Document examination information and prepare preliminary reports as needed.
• Verify patient identification and follow proper protocol for equipment servicing and filing.
• Explain the ultrasound process to patients and perform QC/maintenance as required.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
