Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a daytime, full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join the Outpatient Imaging Center. You will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and educate patients while supporting imaging services.

ARDMS and BLS are required or obtained soon after hire; prior hospital experience is preferred. This role offers growth opportunities, benefits, and a supportive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification or acquire ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Ultrasound Tech with prior work experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures to support patient care.
• Provide patient education and demonstrate strong communication skills to ensure positive outcomes.
• Support the organization's priorities to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by supporting the Ultrasound department and other Imaging Services areas as needed.
