Job summary

Odessa Regional is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for the evening shift in Odessa, TX. The full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires ARDMS registration, a two-year allied health degree, and a one-year ultrasound program, with at least two years of field experience.

The technician will perform diagnostic sonographic exams, coordinate tests, calibrate equipment, and maintain logs while following standard practices. Evening hours are scheduled Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
• Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
