Job summary

Steward Health Care is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for an evening shift in Odessa, TX. The role is full-time and on-site, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The technician will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations, coordinate tests, and maintain equipment and logs.

The ideal candidate has an allied health degree, ARDMS certification, and at least 2 years of ultrasound experience. The position includes an evening schedule (3pm-11:30pm), Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Two-year allied health degree required.
• ARDMS registration/certification required.
• Experience with diagnostic sonography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Schedules and coordinates tests; records results.
• Calibrates and maintains ultrasound equipment; orders supplies as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in sonography.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks in a clinical setting.
