Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound scanners, transport patients, answer questions related to exam reports.
• Help clean rooms and equipment, order supplies, assist physicians with invasive procedures, and administer basic CPR. Must be RDMS or RDMS registry eligible.
• Maintain a high standard of imaging.
• Have thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and positioning for quality exams.
• Handle multiple demands simultaneously with a helpful attitude.
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to ensure smooth flow.
• Be available for 24-hour callback with a 1-hour response time.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with daily operations.
• Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical education
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Appropriate ARDMS certification or RDMS Registry eligible (within one year of hire)
• BLS certification upon hire
