Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an Ultrasound Tech, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing essential imaging for accurate diagnoses and patient care.

  • Perform diverse ultrasound procedures for various patient populations.
  • Prepare patients, acquire and process optimal images, recognize and document pathology.
  • Maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists.
  • Communicate findings and preliminary results to physicians.

Daily responsibilities include managing the patient schedule across inpatients, outpatients, and ER, managing technical and administrative duties, and ensuring equipment performance.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic medical ultrasound program or 1 year on-the-job experience in diagnostic medical ultrasound, upon hire.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR certificate, upon hire.
  • One of the following to be obtained upon hire or within 12 months of hire:
