Job summary

Quality Temp Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Los Angeles for a night shift within the Radiology department. You will perform a variety of ultrasound exams and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedures.

The role requires an accredited program with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certification and at least 3 years of ultrasound experience, plus compliance with CA DPH regulations and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification from ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, ensuring comfort and cooperation during examinations.
• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, document findings for physician review.
• Perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal ultrasound exams; use Doppler to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control on ultrasound equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, sterile environment.
• Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations and hospital policies; maintain licensures and training.

• Salary Range: $49-$53
• Status: Ongoing Full Time Assignment

Responsibilities

• Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, ensuring their comfort and cooperation during examinations.
• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, recognizing normal and abnormal anatomy and documenting findings for physician review.
• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies. Use Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on ultrasound equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment during ultrasound procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations and hospital policies, maintaining licensures and training.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Must have at least 3 years of Ultrasound experience
• Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable
• Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
• Must have Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
• Current Annual Health Clearance
