Job summary

SIS in Illinois is seeking an Ultrasound Probe Repair and Testing Technician to repair and refurbish ultrasound probes according to original manufacturer specifications.

The technician will assess instrumentation, diagnose problems, and perform repairs, maintaining a professional demeanor and ownership of responsibilities to ensure top-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Troubleshoot ultrasound probes that do not meet voltage standards.
  • Use multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify and repair shorts and opens.
  • Micro-soldering probe arrays onto boards.
  • Test probes before submitting to Final QC.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and refurbish ultrasound probes according to original manufacturer and SIS specifications.

Job description

SIS is currently looking for a motivated team player with relevant experience to fill a position as an Ultrasound Probe Repair and Testing Technician. The successful candidate will repair and refurbish ultrasound probes according to original manufacturer and company specifications. The Technician must perform semi-autonomously, assessing instrumentation, evaluating problems, and executing repairs. He/She must present a professional demeanor and take ownership of responsibilities, acting proactively on behalf of the company and the customer, and ensuring the highest quality customer experience.

Requirements
  • Troubleshoot ultrasound probes that do not meet voltage standards
  • Use multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify and repair shorts and opens
  • Micro-soldering probe arrays onto boards
  • Test probes before submitting to Final QC
