Job summary

Probo Medical, a diagnostic imaging sales and service provider, is seeking a Probe Repair Technician I to join a production team that repairs transducers. You will follow production sequences, operate tools, and document repairs in Salesforce.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, electro–mechanical inclination, and attention to detail. Experience with small tools, microscopes, and teamwork is valued; training will be provided, and safety is stressed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; related experience acceptable.
  • Electro–mechanical inclination; knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with small tools under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Patient, detail-oriented, adaptable; capable of teamwork and independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production tools with precision.
  • Follow production sequence and suggest improvements.
  • Document and track production efforts to meet quality metrics.
  • Assist training of other employees in procedures.
  • Follow safety practices including infection control and compliance standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Complete projects on time with minimal supervision.

The Probe Repair Technician I (PRTI) works in a production environment to produce world-class transducer repairs. Follow production sequence and provide feedback on improvements and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate production tools and equipment with precision.
  • Follow production sequence and provide feedback on improvements and initiatives.
  • Document and track all production efforts to ensure quality metrics are attained.
  • Assist with the training of other employees in new or existing procedures.
  • Follow safe practices relating to infection control, hazardous materials and mechanical loads and industry compliance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Responsible for completing projects on time and performing work in a safe manner with little oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Electro – Mechanical inclination, knowledge or experience.
  • Ability to work with small tools under a microscope for extended periods of time.
  • Possess a high level of patience, attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Self-starter able to work as a team and independently without much oversight.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and effectively communicate timeline and workload.
  • Mechanic and/or construction experience a plus
  • General knowledge of common hand and power tools
  • Basic computer data entry skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Technical degrees in electronic and/or mechanical discipline are preferred.
  • 2+ years working in a Quality Control and/or regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with ultrasound equipment a plus.

  • Monitor the typical office/field safety and environmental conditions within the designated facility and report deficient conditions if needed in accordance with the PROBO Safety Manual.
