Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Per Diem Diagnostic Sonographer in El Paso. Under minimal supervision, you will perform basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures and exercise professional judgment to aid in diagnosis across all ages.

Requirements include ARDMS/ARRT registration within 24 months of graduation and BLS. Preferred graduates with an Associate degree. Rotate shifts with per diem employment are available.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS or ARRT registered within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire).
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Assists with amnio procedure biopsies.
• Processes and files films as needed

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
