Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality imaging in the medical imaging department. The role involves performing ultrasound exams, delivering patient-centered care, and serving as a clinical resource to staff.

Requirements include HS diploma, sonography credentials, and preferred degrees. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• One year of ultrasound experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the medical imaging department.
• Perform high-quality ultrasound images and exams.
• Demonstrate leadership and act as a clinical resource to unit personnel.
• Ensure current standards of practice are upheld in the unit.

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Job Requirements

• One year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred
• HS Diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• ARDMS - registered required RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR);
  • or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT)
  • or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
  

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Pay Range

$28.81 - $43.59 /hour
