Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is seeking a Diagnostic Sonography professional to perform ultrasound studies with professional judgment across all age groups. Under minimal supervision, you will conduct high-quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed and may assist with amnio biopsies.

Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited program and ARDMS/ARRT registration within 24 months of graduation, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography.
• Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Assists with amnio procedure biopsies.
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
• Performs related duties as required.
