BJC HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for the Barnes Center for Advanced Medicine - CAM Breast Center in St. Louis, MO. The role requires RDMS or equivalent, with breast ultrasound and mammography experience highly preferred.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. Mon-Fri day shifts, potential Saturday work with extra pay. Responsibilities include performing breast ultrasound imaging, ensuring equipment readiness, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School equivalency required.
• RDMS certification or equivalent required.
• RDCS certification or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Mammography and breast ultrasound experience preferred.

Position Details:

• Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri
• No Major holidays & possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work
• RDMS or equivalent required
• Breast Sonography with x-ray (preferred)
• Mammography and breast ultrasound experience (highly preferred)

Experience:

If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Breast Sonographer, Breast Ultrasound Technologist / Technician, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Breast Specialty), Mammography / Ultrasound Technologist

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging
