Job summary

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for the CAM Breast Center in St. Louis, MO. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include performing breast sonography, handling documentation, and ensuring equipment readiness, with day shifts Mon-Fri and potential Saturdays for additional pay.

• Breast ultrasound and mammography experience highly preferred.
• RDCS or equivalent certification desirable.

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for Barnes Center for Advanced Med -CAM Breast Center (St. Louis, MO)

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates!!!

Position Details

• Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri
• No Major holidays & possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work
• RDMS or equivalent required
• Breast Sonography with x- ray (preferred)
• Mammography and breast ultrasound experience (highly preferred)

Role Purpose

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging

• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
