Job summary

St. Joseph Health is seeking a Sonographer to perform detailed ultrasound imaging across General, OB/GYN and Vascular procedures. You will interact directly with patients, explain procedures, and ensure their safety and comfort during scans.

The role requires completion of an accredited sonography program and RDMS certification or eligibility. You will operate advanced equipment, select optimal imaging views, and report findings to physicians to aid in diagnosis and care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited sonography program.
• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• RDMS or eligible certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for scans, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Identify and document findings, and present preliminary results to physicians.
• Produce quality ultrasound images for General, OB/GYN and Vascular studies.
