Ultrasound Sonographer, $10K Sign-On Bonus

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

• Education: Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers), RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC. If hired without RVT, must obtain within 6 months or face termination.

Preferred

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 2 years in ultrasound

Shift: Mon-Fri, 10AM-6:30PM

JOB DUTIES

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensure proper supplies, and be resource-conscious. Check and report equipment issues. Respond promptly to inquiries. Share workload equitably. Participate in training and quality control. Attend meetings and complete required courses. Adhere to policies and dress code. May assume supervisory roles in absence of supervisor. Participate in compliance activities.
• Patient Interaction: Verify patient identity, communicate clearly, ensure proper preparation, and answer questions. Evaluate patient history and symptoms. Provide age-appropriate care for all patient groups.
• Exam Performance: Conduct various ultrasound procedures, verify orders, assist physicians, ensure quality and timely completion of images and records, administer contrast as needed.
• Additional Duties: Train students and new staff, participate in QA/QC, assist with accreditation, and coordinate equipment maintenance.
